She has a master’s degree from the Emory University Rollins School of Public Health and a master’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania. She is a former Association of Schools of Public Health fellow, assigned in 2000, to the CDC Health-Related Quality of Life (HRQOL) Program, where she conducted population studies on HRQOL and well-being in the U.S. population.
