Demetrius Geiger received a BS in biology from Kennesaw State University in 2014 and a MPH in 2018 from Morehouse School of Medicine (MSM). She has served as the research assistant for MSM MEW Network study since 2016. As a research assistant for Project UPLIFT, a CDC-funded MEW evidence-based program, Demetrius is immersed in all phases of the study and assists with the implementation of the intervention for African Americans. She also manages the various study databases, communication with all study participants, and the Epilepsy Community Advisory Board. Demetrius has been critical in expanding the reach of the project to rural Georgia.
