Collaboration is our
Strength.
The Managing Epilepsy Well (MEW) Network is a multi-site initiative, funded by the CDC Epilepsy Program, aimed at improving the health and well-being of people with epilepsy, by advancing epilepsy self-management research, evaluation, and program dissemination.
The MEW Network consists of:
A Coordinating Center that provides leadership in facilitating communication and collaboration across the MEW Network, and that conducts its own self-management research.
Collaborating Centers that engage in the development, evaluation, implementation, and dissemination of self-management programs and tools.
Epilepsy partners who represent agencies or groups not funded under the CDC Special Interest Project cooperative agreement but who have a vested interest in MEW Network activities.
People with epilepsy, their caregivers, and epilepsy providers who are engaged in guiding local MEW Network initiatives.
